Ethics Policy for Publishing in the Conference Proceedings of Global Frontiers: ICEAHIM

Authors/Researchers:

      • Ensure that all submitted work is original, adheres to high scholarly standards, and is fully referenced using the prescribed citation system.
      • Accurately represent all contributors and appropriately acknowledge others, including sources of funding, where applicable.
      • Disclose fully the source of all data and the methods used for its acquisition.
      • Certify that all data has been collected in accordance with recognized ethical research practices.
      • Carefully read, agree to, and sign a license to publish form.
      • Respond promptly to the editor and publisher’s requests for source data, proof of authorship, or originality.
      • Cooperate with any investigations initiated by reviewers, editors, or the publisher regarding ethical concerns.
      • Provide corrections (errata) as necessary if errors are identified after publication.
      • Maintain clear communication with editors, publishers, and co-authors as required.
      • Acknowledge that the Editorial Board holds the final decision on publication.

Reviewers:

      • Only review papers within their area of expertise.
      • Read submissions thoroughly and provide constructive, well-considered feedback.
      • Treat all reviewed work as confidential, avoiding discussion with others and maintaining anonymity in relation to authors.
      • Complete reviews in a timely manner.
      • Report any suspected ethical misconduct identified during the review process.
      • Avoid the use of offensive language in their reviews.
      • Agree to review subsequent versions of a paper if needed and provide follow-up advice.
      • Seek clarification from the editor if any issues or conflicts of interest arise during the review process.
      • Communicate promptly with both the editor and publisher.
      • Review all submissions fairly, without bias or prejudice.

Media

      • Authorize for publication only content of the highest quality.
      • Ensure that original submissions undergo a thorough, objective, and double-blind peer review.
      • Clearly indicate which articles will not be double-blind peer reviewed (e.g., non-academic papers).
      • Maintain transparency in the review and publication process, protecting the identity of individuals where appropriate.
      • Offer guidance to authors during the submission process as needed.
      • Provide authors with the right to appeal editorial decisions.
      • Be vigilant in ensuring that third-party material in submissions is properly licensed or approved.
      • Be prepared to publish errata when necessary.
      • Communicate promptly with both authors and the publisher.
      • Treat all submissions with fairness and impartiality.

Administrators:

      • Log all submissions promptly and confirm receipt to the lead author.
      • Verify that the title and abstract of the paper are relevant to the conference and inform the author if it is not.
      • Notify authors of incomplete submissions and hold the abstract until all necessary information is received.
      • Check submissions for adherence to formatting, referencing, word count, and page length requirements, and return the paper to the author if revisions are needed.
      • Forward papers to the appropriate program committee member for review and remind reviewers of upcoming deadlines.
      • Manage communication between authors and reviewers until the paper is either accepted or withdrawn.
      • Treat all authors and reviewers with fairness and without bias.

Ethical Concerns:

If an ethical issue is raised by a reviewer, editor, or reader, the concern must be submitted in writing to the publisher. Upon receipt, the publisher will refer the matter to the Ethics Review Panel for thorough investigation. Any reports of ethical impropriety will be treated with the utmost seriousness. If misconduct is confirmed, the paper will be withdrawn, an apology requested, and, if not forthcoming, the author(s) may be barred from future consideration for publication in conference proceedings.
